Jeremiah 1:9
Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
On this particular day, imbued with the gentle light of providence, I found myself invited to partake in a home Bible study alongside two devoted missionary elders, and emissaries of faith in the present landscape of our shared existence.
Answering the Call to Testify
Amongst us walked Kiontae, a figure whose presence seemed to resonate with unspoken depths, as we traversed the delicate path of scripture and the divine assurances it offers. His testimony of Christ flowed forth like a stream from the heart, imbued with a sincerity that enveloped us, a reminder, echoing faintly yet profoundly, of a certain passage — indeed, Jeremiah 1:9. It is with purpose that I have urged him to inscribe the experiences of his journey in a spiritual journal, for he emerges from an abyss of profound darkness, having beheld the radiance of truth and enlightenment. He stands now, a beacon willing to share the luminescence he has discovered.
Answering the Call to Mentor Others
I embrace the role of mentor and guide on this intricate journey of his, a path upon which he will, in turn, reveal the depths of his worth not only to himself but also as a guide to others. In the various roles he embodies—as a husband, father, businessman, and vessel of divine calling—may he continuously strive to reflect the light he has encountered.
My prayer
I hold a prayer in my heart for his efforts to be graciously blessed, fervently hoping that he navigates the world unscathed by temptation, finding instead the strength to illuminate the paths of those who walk beside him.
